Samuel founded Darian Consulting Group after more than a decade of independent advisory and implementation work spanning four continents. His career has run through some of the most demanding delivery environments in international development — from national biometric registration systems in Afghanistan to cluster-wide information management for UNHCR in Geneva.
He works at the intersection that most consultancies avoid: senior enough to design the strategy, technical enough to build the system, and experienced enough in M&E to prove whether it worked. He has implemented ERPs for East African businesses, deployed AI platforms at international summit scale, and led evaluations that held up to donor scrutiny.
Samuel holds degrees in Computer Security & Forensic Science and in Applied Computer Science & Pure Mathematics, and is an active member of the African Evaluation Association, the Evaluation Society of Kenya and the Kenya Red Cross, where he is a Life Member.
